The race was put on by the Auto Moto Club and Sport of Perugia The Futurist designs were well ahead of their time. Image made famous by Seneca in 1920 this was made in the 1950’s by the original printers to celebrate important posters done in earlier years and given out as gifts

This poster was first designed in the 1920s for the Coppa Della Perugina race. The Auto Moto Club and Sport of Perugia, Italia, organized the event. Its Futurist design was ahead of its time. Seneca made the image famous in 1920. In the 1950s, the original printers reprinted it as a tribute to earlier posters and gave them as gifts.
