1983 Grand Prix Automobile of Monaco Pierre Lecomte
Pierre Lecomte designed the official poster for the 41st Monaco Grand Prix, held from May 12 to 15, 1983. The artwork features a dynamic depiction of a Formula One race car, capturing the excitement of the event.
Traditionally, Monaco Grand Prix posters showcased the previous year’s winning car, as they were printed before the current race occurred. Therefore, the 1983 poster likely features Riccardo Patrese’s Brabham-Ford, the winner of the 1982 Monaco Grand Prix.

Lucien Serre was perhaps the most used printers for the Paris Lyon Mediterrannee Railways system during this period. Also Julien Lacaze did many posters for the PLM. HUGO D’ALESI WAS A MASTER ARTIST WHO DID A LARGE BODY OF WORKS FOR THE CHEMINS DE FER AND LATER PLM INCLUDING MURALES AT TRAIN STATIONS. GREAT STUFF.
