It states Spring Summer and Fall, but actually it is also a Winter Destination for skiing and there exists a winter poster by Cappiello done for the same destination. Nice La Reine de la cote d’azur translates Nice the queen of the south of France done by Pierre Comba shows a local lady dressed in local fashion of the region of the time period. The view is on to the Port and after that the land Promende des Anglaise that goes up the coast. Her hands are full of flowers which are used in making french perfumes in the next town over of Grasse in the mountains just behind. The poster was printed at Mullet Imprimerie one of the best and renown printers with locations in Paris and Marseille and the poster is in excellent condition on linen.
