Great image of a the allied troupes approaching on a tank of the epoque. An American, Frenchman and Englishman together with their respective flags flying and a golden Marianne holding up a golden wreat of Victory which by now was fast approaching after the intervention of American coming in to the war.
This World War I poster, published in Paris in 1916, depicts a scene in late 1915 from the Serbian theater of the war, in which the remnants of the Serbian army and accompanying civilian refugees were forced across the borders into Montenegro and Albania.

Brewery History
Founded in 1860 by Christian Schmidt, the brewery became one of Philadelphia’s largest. It was known for producing American lagers and expanded its distribution across the northeastern U.S.
Marketing and Closure
Schmidt’s promoted its beer through various advertisements, including the bicycle-themed poster. The brewery closed in 1987 due to competition from national brands, but its name remains associated with Philadelphia’s brewing history.
