    Nice, La Reine de la Côte d’Azur” translates to “Nice, the Queen of the South of France.” Pierre Comba created this poster, depicting a local woman dressed in the region’s fashion of that era. She stands with a view of the port, followed by the Promenade des Anglais stretching along the coast. Her hands hold flowers, used to produce French perfumes in Grasse, a nearby mountain town.       The Alfa Romeo 8C-2300 was a successful racing car produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo in the 1930s. The “MM” in its name stands for Mille Miglia, a famous Italian endurance race, and “LM” could stand for Le Mans, another iconic endurance race. The 8C-2300 is known for its impressive performance and numerous racing victories during its time.
