Simplicissimus was a satirical German Journ that came out weekly starting in 1896 and existed right up to 1967. Many famous artists contributed to the illustrations made and during the period of the early 20th century artist like Dudovich, Schnackenberg, Kainer and others contributed. The works only existed for this journal and some are very rare like the image of the Ballet Russes by Schnackenberg etc.
