During the first World War advertising for support from the public in the way of war bonds was an important part of the war effort. Many artists enlisted to fight and many artists offered their talents to create posters for the effort. War Bonds or "Emprunts" were made for the many banks from France and the UK and Italian banks located in France as well. Artists who were not only poster artists but fine artists also contributed. We have a huge selection and if you don't see it please enquire as we have more than is shown.
